The Whole-Body Dialogue System

You've been explaining yourself for years. It's time someone listened.

Your symptoms aren't random. They're a conversation your body has been trying to have - with no one translating. Until now.

No referral needed. Most patients find clarity within 2 visits.

You've learned to live with the fog. The dull ache that became your new normal. The test results that came back ‘fine' while your body insisted otherwise. You adapted - that's what resilient people do. But adaptation has a quiet cost.

  • The energy you spend performing wellness so others stop worrying
  • The second-guessing - maybe it really is all in your head
  • The plans you've stopped making because you can't predict how you'll feel
  • The trust you've lost in your own body's signals

This is exactly why Solace exists.

Not to dismiss what you've endured - but to finally give it a name, a map, and a way forward.

Breathe in…

How We Hear What Others Miss

Three movements. One complete picture. Your body holds the answers - we simply know how to listen.

1

You Notice

You tell us everything. Not just symptoms - patterns, sensations, the things you've stopped mentioning because no one seemed to care. We ask the questions others don't think to ask.

2

We Map

Using our proprietary Whole-Body Dialogue Mapping, we trace how your symptoms converse with each other. The lower back that speaks to the jaw. The sleep that echoes in the gut. Nothing exists in isolation.

3

Your Body Responds

With the full map visible, targeted treatment becomes intuitive - not experimental. Your body recognizes it's been heard. The response is often faster and more complete than anyone expected.

“After six years of being told my symptoms were unrelated, Solace showed me they were having a conversation I was never invited to. For the first time, I wasn't the confused one in the room.”

- Maren T., 41

The Record Speaks

Numbers don't comfort. But they can confirm what you already suspect: this is different.

2009

Founded on a single conviction: the body is a conversation, not a collection of parts.

2014

4,000 patients mapped. A pattern emerged: 73% had symptoms connected across systems no previous clinician had linked.

2019

Median time to diagnosis reduced by 64% compared to regional average. Not by rushing - by listening more precisely.

2024

12,000+ patients. 94% report feeling 'truly heard' for the first time. The Dialogue System is now taught at leading medical universities.

What We Open, Not What We Do

Every service begins with a person, not a procedure.

For the woman who...

has memorized her symptoms in case someone finally asks

Neurological Calibration

Restore the rhythm your nervous system forgot it had.

For the executive who...

runs on cortisol and calls it ambition

Cardiometabolic Dialogue

When your heart and metabolism speak different languages, we translate.

For the parent who...

pushes through pain because pausing isn't an option

Musculoskeletal Resonance

Your body keeps score. We help it settle the ledger.

For the mind that...

won't switch off, even when exhaustion begs it to

Restorative Chronobiology

Realign your body's internal clock with the life you actually live.

For the patient who...

has been told 'it's probably stress' one too many times

Immunological Mapping

Trace the conversation between your immune system and everything it encounters.

For the person who...

feels invisible in every waiting room they've ever sat in

Whole-Body Dialogue Assessment

The starting point. The deep listen. Where your body's story finally begins.

What It Sounds Like When the Noise Stops

These are not reviews. They are records of relief.

Before: I came in expecting another shrug. Another referral. Another bill for nothing.

The Shift: By the second question, I realized Dr. Vale wasn't checking boxes - she was building a map. When she connected my jaw tension to my lower back to my sleep, something in me unlocked.

After: I don't wake up bracing anymore. I wake up planning.

- James R., 52, engineer who'd seen 7 specialists before Solace

Before: I stopped describing my symptoms accurately because it never changed the outcome. I'd say "I'm fine" and mean "I've given up being heard."

The Shift: The Dialogue Map was the first time I saw my own body on paper - not as broken, but as trying. Every line connected something I'd been told was unrelated.

After: I still have a condition. But now I have a conversation with it instead of a war.

- Anika S., 38, living with fibromyalgia for 11 years

Before: I'd built my entire identity around pushing through. The idea that my body had something to tell me felt like weakness.

The Shift: Solace reframed it: my body wasn't failing - it was informing. The Chronobiology Protocol didn't slow me down. It made the speed sustainable.

After: I ran my first full meeting without brain fog in three years. I didn't even tell anyone. I just sat there, clear, and nearly cried.

- Dr. Priya K., 45, surgeon who almost left medicine

The Clarity Commitment

If, after your Whole-Body Dialogue Assessment, we cannot provide you with a clearer understanding of what your body is communicating - if you leave with the same uncertainty you arrived with - we will:

  • Conduct a second assessment at no additional cost
  • Provide a written summary of every pattern explored, even if no diagnosis is reached - because the map itself has value
  • Facilitate a referral to a specialist in our network who may be better positioned to help, with your full Dialogue Map in hand

We cannot promise a cure on the first visit. But we can promise you will not leave unheard. That is our minimum standard.

Your Guide

Dr. Elena Vale

MD, IFMCP - Double Board-Certified, Integrative & Functional Medicine

Dr. Vale entered medicine because her mother spent nine years undiagnosed. Nine years of being told the fatigue was depression, the pain was age, the weight gain was discipline. Her mother's eventual diagnosis - an autoimmune condition hiding behind a curtain of ‘normal’ labs - could have been caught years earlier. If someone had listened to the conversation between her symptoms instead of hearing each one in isolation.

That silence became a vocation. Dr. Vale trained in both conventional and functional medicine not because she rejects either, but because patients deserve both. She developed the Whole-Body Dialogue System after realizing that the most important diagnostic tool wasn't a machine - it was the patient's own narrative, if you knew how to map it.

She still hand-writes patient notes. ‘A keyboard makes you efficient,’ she says. ‘A pen makes you present.’

Fellowship: Integrative Medicine Institute

Questions You've Been Asking at 2 A.M.

The ones that kept you from picking up the phone.

What if they don't believe me either?
We start from the premise that your symptoms are real. Not because we're generous - because the evidence consistently shows they are. Our Dialogue Mapping process is designed to reveal connections, not dismiss them. If you've felt unseen before, this is the part where that changes.
Is this going to be a rushed 15-minute appointment?
Your initial Whole-Body Dialogue Assessment is 90 minutes. Not 15. Not 30. Ninety. Because you cannot map a conversation you don't have time to hear. Follow-ups are 45 minutes minimum. We built this practice around the clock your body needs, not the clock your insurance prefers.
I've already seen specialists. How is this different?
Specialists are essential - and we collaborate with them frequently. The difference is scope. A specialist examines one system. We examine how your systems talk to each other. Often, the answer lives in the conversation between systems, not within any single one.
Do you take insurance?
We provide superbills for insurance reimbursement, and many patients receive partial or full coverage. Our team will walk you through exactly what to submit and how. We believe financial clarity is part of medical clarity.
What if I'm not "sick enough" for something like this?
There is no minimum threshold for being heard. If something feels wrong, it is worth exploring. Many of our most profound discoveries come from patients who were told they were "the worried well" - and turned out to be anything but.
How quickly will I know something?
Most patients leave their first assessment with a tangible shift in understanding - even before test results return. The Dialogue Map alone often provides an "oh, that's why" moment. Complete diagnostic clarity typically emerges within 2-3 visits.

There is a version of you that doesn't wake up wondering what's wrong. A version whose body feels like home, not a house with locked rooms.

That version isn't a fantasy. It's a conversation you haven't had yet.

Available in person at our Portland clinic or via secure telehealth. Most new patients are seen within 5 business days.
